Focaccia Al Formaggio

While spending time with my friends Silvia and Jess in Silvia’s home in Liguria, Italy, I got the pleasure of trying focaccia al formaggio (focaccia with cheese inside of it) and it was SO GOOD. Typically, the focaccia is filled with Strachinno but I also got to try ones filled with Gorgonzola. I’ve never been much of a blue-cheese person but the focaccia with gorgonzola inside of it came to be something I really enjoyed throughout my trip. Pictured below are my favorite ones that I had - one with Strachinno and pesto on top and another with Gorgonzola and arugula on top!
