Anthea’s tea-time snack

Egg Tarts

“There are SO many things I wanted to list but I think egg tarts come to mind first. They’re basically creamy custards with either a flaky pastry shell or sweet shortbread (I personally like the flaky pastry one best). I used to share these with my grandparents during tea time when I was younger. Always brings back good memories & good vibes. Also just a good snack for any occasion, never disappoints!”

Aastha’s Thoughts

Like Anthea, tea time with my grandparents is a fond memory of mine. With tea in my family, we often munch on classic Indian biscuits, or a flaky crispy cracker called “Khakhra”. I love how the egg tarts brings Anthea feelings of joy and good memories with her grandparents. As someone who loves custard, these custard-filled shells sound truly spectacular.
